Advanced fabrication processes
- Beam assembly line: Our CNC-controlled beam assembly line initiates the fabrication process by cutting and drilling sections such as I-beams, wide flanges, and channels to exact specifications. This precision prepares them for transformation into beams and columns, ensuring structural integrity.
- Punch and shear equipment: Utilizing advanced punch and shear machinery, we manufacture essential components like base and end plates, stiffeners, and brace plates. This equipment also processes angle and flat bars for wind braces, all under CNC guidance to minimize errors.
- Plasma cutting machine: For intricate or thick plates, our sophisticated plasma cutting machine handles steel, stainless steel, and aluminum plates ranging from 3 mm to 60 mm. Its 3D rotating head allows for precise angle cuts, producing ‘true holes’ with perpendicular sides for optimal fit.
Expert welding and quality assurance
Our EN 287-1-certified welders perform meticulous tack welding to position plates accurately on beams, followed by final welding adhering to EN 15614-1 standards. We conduct two inspection rounds—post-fitting to verify correct placement and post-welding to ensure high-quality standards and finishing—upholding our commitment to excellence.
Comprehensive conservation methods
The final fabrication step involves conserving structural steel based on customer requirements:
- Hot dip galvanizing: Provides robust corrosion resistance for extended durability.
- Powder coating: Applies a smooth, protective finish in any RAL color, enhancing aesthetics and resilience.
- Zinc phosphate coating: Executed in our in-house paint shop, this method offers effective protection against corrosion, with customizable color options to match design preferences.
Once the conservation process is complete, materials are carefully prepared for transport, ensuring secure packaging, optimized loading, and timely shipments to national and international locations.
